5. Extension to Geography Japan
Do you know where Japan is?
Japan is an archipelago, which means it is formed by a group of islands. There are four large ones, Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Shikoku, along with more than 6,000 little ones. It is located in the Pacific Ocean.
In the story of the Two Frogs one frog is from Osaka and the other is from Kyoto, both are cities located in the main island of Honshu.
Japan is famous for its culture and history, it is believed during the Stone Age the main islands were connected to what is now known as Siberia, so people could cross by foot.
