7. Extension to Science Seasons of the Year
Spring, summer, fall, and winter are the four seasons of the year. Each season has different weather. If you look carefully many things change with the seasons.
Spring
Some people say this is the season when nature wakes up.
The trees begin to have buds.
Flowers start to bloom.
Seeds of plants begin to sprout.
The weather starts to change, it starts to get warmer.
In spring, many animals that have been asleep during winter wake up from their long nap.
Birds that flew away to the south return.
