“What? You did not mention any dogs!” said the Country Mouse, before he was finished talking two black dogs came in the kitchen and sooner than later the two mice ran as fast as they could, hiding in a tiny hole in the wall.
“Good-bye, cousin,” said the Country Mouse. “Why are you leaving?” asked the City Mouse.
“I rather have bread and roots if I can live in peace than a feast in fear.”
