• Parts of a Sentence
Remember:
• A sentence is a complete idea.
• It begins with a capital letter and it ends with a period(.) • A sentence has two parts, a subject and a predicate.
• The subject will tell us who or what the sentence is about. • The predicate will tell us what the subject does or is.
Example:
The family danced happily. (Complete idea)

What did they do? Danced happily
