  Country Girl
by Ella Plume
The country is still in my heart,
Everything looks so different,
So new, so shiny, not one old or rusty part. Too many cars,
Too much traffic.
No old dusty cars,
It’s all chrome and automatic.
Sure it’s nice,
Sure it’s pretty,
But I’d rather live any day in the country, Than in the modern new day city.
