5. Verbs
A verb is an action word. It tells what someone or something does.
Examples:
All the animals went to visit the lion.
What did the animals do? Visit Visit is the verb.
The fox leaped upon the goat’s back.
What did the fox do? Leaped Leaped is the verb.
