Read the story carefully.
Sally walked around the yard. Recess was boring if you were all alone, and since her best friend Rebecca was sick, she was lonely and bored.
A ball rolled to her foot. She stopped it and looked around. Who was the owner of that soccer ball?
A few boys waved at her “Pass it! Pass it!” they said. She grinned and passed it to them. Maybe they would let her play, she thought. She loved soccer. But the boys ignored her and kept on playing without her. Sally walked to them “Hey! Can I play?”
