games and and that I did But it it wasn’t just the the thrill of being at at the the event and and getting in in in in in some playing time it it it it was was everything that came with it it Just walking in in in the the the door and seeing the the the Banner up with with the the the the the words World Foosball Championships it it it just gives you you that exciting chill Then you you see all all the the the the the tables in in the the the the the rooms the the the the the pit area InsideFoos Network and and then to to talk and and come face face to to face face with some of of the the the old GREATS like Todd Loffredo Steve Beinie Don Chalifoux Tony Bacon and and others All names that I grew up with in in in in the the mid to late 70’s and and and early 80’s as as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a 20-year-old kid playing foosball in in in Indiana and and and then back home to the the East Coast (Sorry guys about dating ourselves) but we we are still here here and and having just as much fun There were other great players players from the the mid to late 90’s players players like Tommy “Two Gun” Adkisson who won his first Singles World Championship in in 1993 Then there would be be what some say are the the the the the New Great players but they also have been making a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a name for themselves over the the the the last 10 to 20 years players like Ryan Moore and and and and his wife Iveta Tony Spredeman Brandon Moreland Rob Mares and and and and many more then there is is “The first Family of Foosball” the the the the Rue Rue family Terry Terry and Keisha along with their daughter Sullivan Rue Rue In 2019 while playing in in in in in in the the the ITSF World Cup in in in in in in Spain Terry Terry was a a a a a a a a a a a big part of helping Team USA win win the the the the Championship His wife and daughter also helped the the the girls team win win their first Gold ever while playing in in in in in in in Spain Sullivan had a a a a a a a a a a a a good week at the World’s as well winning Women’s Women’s Singles and Women’s Women’s Doubles with her partner Hannah Smith from Mississippi One of of the the biggest highlights of of the the tournament was Ryan Ryan Moore as as he he he he made Foosball Foosball History! Ryan Ryan Won what you might call the “Triple Crown” of Foosball Foosball by winning Open Open Doubles with with partner Blake Robertson Open Open Open Mixed with with his his his wife Iveta Moore and then on on on to to win Open Open Singles This had only happened twice before in in in in in the the history of foosball According to to to his his Mom Terry Moore “he set a a a a a a record for for being the the only player to to triple by playing front in in in in in in in in in Mixed Doubles Doubles goalie in in in in in in in in in in in in in in Open Open Doubles Doubles and then winning Open Open Singles” However you look at it it it it was a a a a a a a a a a nice Pay Day for for Ryan Other highlights for for the the the the players in in in the the the the New England area was the the the the Palowski Family bringing home more hardware than Ice-T ever wore around his neck Hailing from Vermont Stanley and and Sheryl Mae Palowski with their their sons Sherwin and and Louise for their their first time ever attending a a a a a a a a a a a a World Championship got the the the attention of many players from around the the the world Louies took first first place in in in Beginner Doubles Doubles with with his his Mother Sheryl first first in in in in in in in U-16 Junior Junior Doubles Doubles with with his his brother Sherwin 2nd in in in in in in in Junior Junior Singles in in in in in in in a a a a a a close match won by JaBalcos from Minnesota 3rd in in in in in in U-19 Doubles with partner Playing in in in in the the Pits on on the the right we have Rick Robichaud from from New Hampshire with with his partner partner in in in in in in in Goal Sherwin Palowski from from from Vermont playing against Rick Macias from from North Carolina with with partner partner Joe Rhodes Missouri The faces that continue to to to keep it it all all together and and working Mick White of Valley/Dynamo and and Mary Moore IFP Tournament Director Here we have Cory Allen from from Greenbay Wisconsin who prior to to to this tournament had just come back from from a a a a a a a a 22 state motorcycle adventure 52 / / WINTER 2021
