it was an incredibly challenging year, but also incredibly rewarding
2020: the year that changed the world.
It could have been a year of waiting and trying to stay safe from the virus. Instead, Empart’s workers have been actively serving their communities and reaped a harvest like never before.
Our frontline workers, our heroes, trusted God to protect them as they went into areas that others hesitated to visit. They reached out to people living in slums where COVID-19 spread quickly from home to home. Despite the pandemic, they were all kept safe and well and there was great fruit.
Through their efforts 2,341 new communities were established, bringing the total number to 38,547. They also reached out to 138 new people groups, bringing the total to 1,998.
By the grace of God, 616,752 people made a commitment to follow His teachings and live a life transformed.
You made it possible to achieve this! Your prayer and generous giving enabled our heroes to witness the rewards of all of their hard work and effort.
God’s goodness has consistently been displayed throughout the year. While our heroes were busy, they also took time to stop and dream. Jossy challenged the field team to set aside one hour every day to sit with God and just listen — to hear His heart for His ministry. We are excited to see where He will lead us in the next decade as we adapt to the challenges we will face.
As you read through these pages, be encouraged that your sacrificial giving and praying has resulted in thousands of people living a life renewed.
