It’s Our People
This year will mark 108 years that Indera Mills has been in existence. Since our beginning back in 1914 we have always been a vertically integrated apparel manufacturer. This means that the entire product, from yarn to finished product, is made in our own factories. The knowledge that it takes to do this has been accumulated over the years through hard work, trial and error, and persistence. We did not get to be the premier producer of thermal underwear and base layer in the world, overnight.
The key ingredient to our success is our people. I have been fortunate enough to spend my entire working career at Indera Mills. Spanning over fifty years, I have seen the amazing contributions our loyal employees have made to this company. It is only through their tireless efforts that we have reached the pinnacle of success that we enjoy today. Too often, I get the credit, when in reality it is those around me that deserve it.

Indera Mills is a great place to work. In many ways we are like a big family. We take care of each other. We share in our failures and achievements, always respecting one another. This is why we are who we are today. INDERA and COLDPRUF are the brands of choice in thermal underwear and base layer. Our people are what makes them so.
Personally, I am so very proud of the Indera family. We met the challenge of the pandemic – giving our all to help during the time of crisis. What a great feeling, knowing that we really made a difference.
