WHAT IS GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT (GDP)?
The GDP is the measurement of the goods and services produced in a specific period (usually
a quarter or a year) in certain country or region. The GDP is classified by industries, based on
the North American Industry Classification Systems or NAICS, a standardized classification for business establishments by type of economic activity. NAICS was developed in between three countries: Canada, Mexico and the USA.
