Baseball/Softball
Mighty Hitters T-Ball
Mighty Hitters T-Ball teaches kids the basics of baseball in a fun and safe environment with no standing around. Throwing, catching, hitting, and  elding will be taught as well as running the bases and the rules of the game. Games will be played if there are enough participants. Players should bring their own gloves.

Beginning Tennis
Forehands and backhands are taught with the control of the ball being stressed. Session A will be held indoors at the Kathy Green Multi-Purpose Center. Session B will be held at the Inwood Park Tennis Courts.

This program keeps kids moving and learning at all times while covering the basic baseball fundamentals of throwing,  elding, and running the bases. The batting tee will be used only for the  rst few classes. Participants should bring their own glove.

This class is the next level up from the Beginning Tennis program. Students must have learned the basic forehand and backhand techniques and be able to display them. Students must be able to use the basic skills of the serve. Session A will be held in the Kathy Green Multi-Purpose Center Gymnasium. Session B will be held at the Inwood Park Tennis Courts.

2019 Spring Softball
The Joliet Park District o ers men’s, women’s and mixed leagues ranging from recreational to competitive levels of play. USSSA rules apply with a few additional house rules.
League registration will begin on Monday, February 11, and ends on Sunday, April 7th.
Information packets will be mailed to returning teams on Monday, January 7, 2019.
