Grandparent’s Valentine’s Celebration Day

Who doesn’t love spending a day with their special
Nana or Poppy? This is a day set aside and filled with
love and fun. There will be music, crafts, bounce houses, movement activities, games, contests, lunch, and dessert. Spend the afternoon with your very first Valentine. Preregistration is necessary by February 3.
Everyone attending must register and purchase a ticket.

Family Sweetheart
Celebration
Sunday, February 16, 1 – 4pm

Parents, take your little sweetheart to our Sweetheart Celebration. There will be music, dancing, art, games, bounce houses, and refreshments. This Sweetheart Celebration is for both boys and girls, dads and moms. Each attendee must have a ticket. Everyone must be preregistered.

Illuminated Creatures: Tempera
and Metallic Leafing Methods
Mondays, February 17 – March 2. 10am – 12pm
Pilcher Park Nature Center
Escape the winter’s darkness with the creatures at Pilcher Park Nature Center. Join local artist/educator, Elise Kendrot of E Squared Art and Design, for a unique nature drawing class inspired by colorful, glowing medieval manuscripts called illuminated bestiaries. Starting with observational studies of the Center’s various animals, participants will develop their drawings into unique images using tempera, metallic pen, and metallic leaf. Beginners, novices, and advanced artists are welcome. Materials are included in the fee. Preregistration is required to ensure enough materials will be available. This is a progressive workshop and attendance is required for all 3 class dates.
