 Elmo’s School Adventures
Children will explore colors, shapes, and numbers through
a variety of activities including art, story boards, music, and active movement. Centers and circle time will be used in this early learning class. This is an excellent stepping stone for preschool.
Kindergarten Readiness
Will your child be ready for kindergarten? We will introduce or review necessary skills to your child for kindergarten success. We will make learning numbers, understanding math concepts, reading, writing, and science fun. Let your child explore hands-on math, reading, and science while engaging in games, and activities working both in group and individual settings. Lunch is needed. Payment plan available.

    Flying Solo
School House Scholars
Your little scholar still wants to be at school – now what do you do? This recreational and educational-based program will have your child cheering for more! Your child will continue his/ her math, science, social studies, literacy, art, and technology. Activities will be done in the classroom and outside. Illinois Standards and Benchmarks will be followed. Monthly installment payments available.
Did your child miss the September 1st age requirement for preschool, but seems ready? This class is designed with your bright child in mind. Gym and music time is included. Class introduces individual and group learning. Socialization with an emphasis on vocabulary will be encouraged. Child does not need to be potty trained.

  Sunshine Connections
This is a twilight preschool class. Children will develop pre-literacy language skills, hand-eye coordination, and follow directions through song, music, and storytime. Children will explore colors, shapes, and numbers through a variety
of activities including art, flannel boards, centers, and active movement. Children will work in small and large groups. Payment plan available (3 payments of $80).
More Than “STEAM”
STEAM is a curriculum based program with the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines – science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics – in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. These classes encourage children to explore the wonders of the world through a child-centered, integrated curriculum that addresses the five important early learning areas. All classes reflect the national early learning standards.

Little People & Home Alone
This class is designed to instill confidence in young children when an emergency situation arises. Active participation is encouraged through discussion and sharing experiences
with the instructor’s guidance. Children will make their own first aid kit to take home, with all materials provided. Home Alone teaches children simple safety rules and procedures for responsible self-care when they are home alone. The class includes viewing a short film, ‘Alone at Home,’ produced by the American Red Cross, an activity book, discussion on emergency phone numbers, proper use of the house key and answering the phone.

       Brown Bag Learning
This enrichment program is designed as a continuation of time directly before or after Sunshine & Rainbows Learning Center class. Each child is required to bring a brown bag lunch (lunch will not be provided). Activities will include: nature, science, arts, theater, math, and physical movement including tumbling. Your child will be escorted to the classroom. Child must be enrolled in our Sunshine & Rainbows program, and class follows the Learning Center calendar. You must register for
the complete winter session. Students enrolled in Brown Bag Learning will be automatically enrolled in curbside pick-up. Staff will bring students out directly to your car after the completion of enrichment program. Monthly payment plan available.
