Specialty Camps
Kamp Willow
This will be the first camp experience for your special little one. Your child will be nurtured as he/she learns to cope with separation and will be introduced to group interaction. Hands-on activities will allow him/her to learn while exploring. Large motor skills will be developed through indoor and outdoor activities. Children must be age 2 by the class start date. Children do NOT need to be potty trained.

Travelin’ Sand Lot
This summer the Joliet Park District Early Childhood Staff will visit John Leach Park. Staff will provide classroom activities on site including music, movement, arts and crafts. Playground games will round out this creative morning of fun entirely outside. Lunch will be provided. A detailed calendar of activities will be handed out during the first class session.

Kinder Camp
This preschool camp is dedicated to bringing children and nature together. We offer daily experiences in nature that include hiking, plants, soil, sand, wild life, and outdoor play. Campers will experience a hands-on exploration of nature using a variety of tools. Please dress your child in play clothes.
This enrichment camp is designed for the child who just completed or will be attending preschool and kindergarten in the fall. A variety of activities will be available allowing self expression, creativity, socialization, and recreation. This camp is theme-based with new activities every week, as well as traditional camp activities. Early drop-off and late pick-up are available for an additional fee. Payment plans are available!

More Than Summer Learning
Your child will enjoy more than summer learning using child centered, integrated curriculum that addresses five important early learning areas: math, art, music, science, and reading and writing.
