Joliet Park Foundation
The Joliet Park Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that was established to enhance, support, and promote quality facilities and services in cooperation with the Joliet Park District.
• The Foundation is a significant contributor to Pilcher Park and Bird Haven Greenhouse improvements .
• In recent years, the Foundation assisted in funding new playgrounds at 5 Joliet Park District parks and financed travel expenses for the Special Recreation of Joliet & Channahon (SRJC) Special Olympics athletes .
• The Foundation is in the process of creating a financial assistance program for Joliet Park District participants and hopes to see its first scholarship awarded at the end of the year .
