Earth Day Celebration
Celebrate the environment! Come join us for hikes
and other programs providing information on free what you can do to help the earth. One activity will include stewardship, such as pulling Garlic Mustard
and picking up trash. It is a good opportunity for community service hours for high school, scout groups and church groups. You will learn why it is important to preserve habitats, why it is good to recycle, etc. Look for a special flyer at jolietpark.org or our Facebook page that will highlight each activ- ity or call the Nature Center for more information.
