Organic Community Garden Garden Plots
Microgreens
People who like to garden but don’t have the space can sign up for a Park District garden plot. Full-size plots are 10’ x 20’ and half-size plots are 10’ x 10’. Gardeners will be assigned a plot based on space available. Applications are available at Presence Inwood Athletic Club front desk. The garden is located on McDonough Street, across from
Inwood Golf Course.
Joliet Park District Organic Community Garden
Learn how to grow a wide range of microgreens – alfalfa, cabbage, radish, clover, fenugreek, broccoli and more! This class will prepare you to grow and harvest your own nutrient rich tiny vegetables year- round for pennies. Ideas about serving them, safety tips and where to buy seeds will be covered.
