 Kindergarten Readiness
Will your child be ready for kindergarten? Your child will be introduced to or will review necessary skills for kindergarten success. We will make number learning, understanding math concepts, reading, writing, and science fun! Let your child explore these areas while engaging in games and activities. Your child will work in both group and individual settings. Please bring a lunch. Payment plan is available.
Kids at Hart After School 2019 – 2020
Nothing to do after school? We fight boredom! Come out for sports, games, crafts and socialization. Homework help is also provided. This program is excellent for children with working parents. The Kids at Hart program follows the Joliet District 86 public school calendar. We offer affordable equal monthly payments for the days students attend school. The Joliet Park District’s refund policy will be strictly enforced and there will be no proration of fees for days not in attendance. $120 per month for residents (does not include any day off school programs). Monthly payments will automatically deduct from your personal account on the 5th of every month.

HomeSchool Fridays
Attention homeschoolers! Join us for exciting science and nature programs planned just for homeschooled students – a perfect addition to your ecology, biology, and geology curriculum. Homeschool Fridays offer a great opportunity for hands-on learning. There is plenty of outdoor exploration so children should come dressed for the weather.

  More Than “STEAM”
“STEAM” is a curriculum-based program with the idea of educating students in five specific disciplines: science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. These classes encourage children to explore the wonders of the world through a child-centered, integrated curriculum that addresses the five important early learning areas. All classes reflect the national early-learning standards.

Children are guaranteed to have a great time as they learn
a collection of fascinating and mesmerizing tricks from the “Magic Team of Gary Kantor!” Amaze family and friends with tricks using cards, ropes, coins, mind reading, and much more. While the tricks may appear difficult, you will discover that they are quick to learn and easy to perform. All materials are provided, and each child receives a magic kit to take home. Brand new tricks are taught at each session.

                      American Red Cross First Aid For Little People & Home Alone
This class is designed to instill confidence in young
children when an emergency situation arises. Active participation is encouraged through discussion and
sharing experiences with the instructor’s guidance.
Children will make their own first aid kit to take home,
with all materials provided. Home Alone teaches children simple safety rules and procedures for responsible self care when they are home alone. The class includes viewing a short film, ‘Alone at Home,’ produced by the American Red Cross, an activity book, discussion on emergency phone numbers, proper use of the house key, and answering the phone.
