Basketball
Little Hoopsters
This program will teach participants basic basketball skills to prepare them for the next level of play. Skills taught will include dribbling, shooting, offense, and defense. The program will also incorporate fun drills and games that will help develop coordination, balance, and an interest in the game.

Lil Hoopers
This class will teach the fundamentals of basketball while also stressing teamwork, sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and a coachable attitude. We will work on ball handling, passing, shooting, lay ups, and defense. Bring a water bottle to class.

Nowell Park High School
Basketball League
All-Star Junior Basketball
Designed to offer league play to high school students who did not have the opportunity to play on their high school team. Teams play a 10-game season and then a single-elimination tournament. A parent of one of the players is required to be on the player’s bench. Registration form, roster, and fee due at the time of registration. The single-elimination tournament is December 15. One practice per team can be scheduled weekly based on availability. Teams will be chosen at random.
This class is the next level up from our Little Hoopsters class. Techniques previously learned will be reviewed and more of an emphasis will be placed on offense, defense, and dribbling through mini games and drills.
