Residents are invited to bring books and magazines for sharing or recycling to this three-day event at Pilcher Park in Joliet. This FREE event is sponsored by the Will County Land Use Department and will be held at Pilcher Park Nature Center. Teachers and libraries may bring books through appointments ONLY Tuesday May 28 – 30. All ages are welcome at this FREE event! Is your preschooler fascinated with trucks and large equipment? Then Touch-A-Truck is the perfect event! Your children can climb, sit, and play on a variety of trucks. There will be indoor and outdoor activities specially geared for preschoolers. Zoo for You Petting Zoo, pony rides and bounce houses will be available at an additional wristband fee of $5. Chuck E. Cheese, Chili’s, Chalkboard, and Candy & Corn will be in the Kathy Green Multi-Purpose Center Gym. Have a truck you would like to display? Call Karen Cooper at 815-741-7275 ext. 129.
