   Reflection
 of Life
In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the earth. On May 15th, 1970, Jean Ann Shivers entered into this world to her Late parents, Ben C. Hunter and Annie Mae Green in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Jean was a member of the 1988 graduating class of Fair Park High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. Soon afterwards, she had two children Terra Shivers (1990 -1992) and Kenya Shivers (1991). In 1995, she married her high school sweetheart Ryan L. Mason. They then had two amazing children Sydney and Ryan L. Mason II (RJ). Jean also led a successful career in customer service, which she loved for almost three decades.
Jean was truly loved and cherished by everyone who met her, as she was a very outgoing person who also loved to be on the go. She loved her family and friends fiercely. She had a strong relationship with God. As the Christian she was, she dedicated her life to helping people, donating her time, money, and also leading by example.
On August 27, 2024, Jean transitioned to be with her Father in heaven after a long fight with cancer. She leaves to mourn; her husband Ryan L. Mason, her children Kenya, Sydney, and Ryan L. Mason II “RJ”; her grandsons; Maison-James and Kristian; her siblings; Juliette Shivers Ingram (Karl), Veronica Patterson, Ben Shivers-Hunter (Hortense); Sisters and Brothers in Law, nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins, and many friends.
