TALENT COMPETITION OVERVIEW
TALENT COMPETITION OUTLINE
• *The talent section of the pageant is a separate competition within the overall pageant.
o It is not a requirement and will not affect pageant scoring.
• The talent competition is only available for Little, Young, & Teen Miss (3rd-8th) divisions.
SPECIFICATIONS
• Each contestant will have up to 2 minutes and 30 seconds to perform their talent.
• *If props are available, they can be used if notified.
SCORING
Each contestant will be scored on a scale of 1-10 by the panel of judges in 3 categories:
☆ Poise & Confidence – coordination, stage presence, physicality, and confidence. ☆ Presentation – costuming, design, showmanship, personality, and skill.
☆ Quality/Value – age appropriate, performance, value, and quality of the talent presentation.
These 3 scores are added for a total possible score of 30 from each judge. Scores are then averaged for a final score.
WINNERS
• The winners will be announced at the pageant.
• There will be 1 winner per division:
o Little Miss grades, 3-4. o Young Miss grades, 5-6. o Teen Miss, grades 7-8.
