• Street children often suffer violence, abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
• Homeless youths are vulnerable to medical and health problems, and their life expectancies are greatly reduced.
• In Asia, approximately 30 million children need homes.
• Many at-risk children are offered homes on the condition that they “earn their keep” as domestic servants or sex slaves.
• The need for safe, loving homes is even greater after the devastating economic fallout of forced lockdowns and stay-at-home orders due to the 2020 pandemic.
