 Attachment Styles:
This is a reference to the way a person perceives their relationship with others and varies in functionality. There are four different styles which include: Anxious or Pre-occupied, Disorganized, Avoidant or Dismissive and Secure. Formed from childhood.
 Authentic:
The real thing. Not putting on any pretense of something they are not. Keeping it real and only interested in authentic relationships. Not hiding behind some mask or living a double life. What you see is what you get. Concerned not just about the exterior but the inner being. Guided by their conscience.
 Avoidant:
To avoid or shun something as a means of coping with anxiety, stress or accountability. Not wanting to be exposed for their double life or take responsibility for their actions.
 Blanket Statements:
An unsubstantiated statement that is vague and non-committal made to discredit another person. Usually a false statement or inflated beyond recognition. When asked to provide an
example or a ‘for instance’ the narcissist becomes avoidant.

 Baited Hook:
A layered question designed to receive a response under a pretence of sincerity that also puts one under obligation to disprove, peppered with shaming and undermining. A passive aggressive manipulation tactic contrived to put the victim on the defensive.
