Charm & Disarm:
To charm a person through selective words and charisma so as to disarm them and remove any suspicions of ill intent.
Narcissistic Personality Disorder Terminology
Cognitive Dissonance:
A contradiction of claimed beliefs and behavior. Changing ones beliefs to justify their own behavior. A disagreement between the conscious and the subconscious.
Complicit/Complies:
Someone who is aware of a crime, has the ability to report it but fails to do so. When one complies by trying to take neutral ground when there is no neutral ground.
Conviction:
A firm belief but not necessarily a truth. Conviction comes from the word convince or to be convinced. IE: HIs wife held the conviction that her husband was incapable of such behavior.
Conditioning/Brain Washing
Training a person to behave in a certain way and accept certain circumstances as normal. Making them believe things that are not in the reality. Creating an environment contrary to the truth.

Covert/Overt: Overt: Exposed, Unhidden or Out In The Open
Covert: Covered, secretive and in the dark. IE: It was a covert operation protected with the highest level of security.
