A substitute form of temporary satisfaction to fuel addiction of adoration, and enablement of how a narcissist gets ones superficial needs met.
Sympathy:
The perception, understanding, and reaction to the distress or need of another life form.
Narcissistic Personality Disorder Terminology
Toxic Amnesia:
When a toxic person does not acknowledge events, claiming they are in your imagination. It is a tactic used to create doubt, and insecurity in the victim, and make them question their own sanity.
Trauma Bonding:
An emotional attachment rooted in a traumatic experience. In terms of narcissism this is a dysfunctional attachment that defies logic. This is what makes it very difficult to escape toxic relationships. It creates a codependent relationship.
Triangulation:
Triangulation is a method used to validate a perpetrators abuse, by bringing in a third- party to agree with their faulty reasoning. This is most often done with strategic words that are ambiguous in order to camouflage the real motive and truth.
Truth Teller:
In terms of narcissistic psychology, this is a person who points out uncomfortable truths to
hold accountability.

Vulnerability:
To be vulnerable. The ability to allow oneself openness to connect in a deep meaningful way that puts one at risk of embarrassment, shame, fear or weakness.
A covert manipulation control tactic used to get needs met. IE: False Tears/Acting.
