Levelling:
Manipulation tactic, to level, to put on equal standing or character, “to level the playing field”. This is done by minimizing and down playing. Another diversion tactic.

Lost Child:
Staying under the radar so as not to elicit the attention of narcissistic family members.
Love Bombing:
Love bombing is an intense campaign to shower the target of a narcissist with thoughtful little gifts, compliments and romantic interludes in order to win their love and become irresistible so as to secure a quick commitment.
Maladaptive Behavior:
Coping mechanisms to relieve stress or anxiety. A dysfunctional type of adaptation.
Mascot:
Becoming the family clown. This is a strategy to deploy family tensions without making demands.
Manipulationship:
A relationship where someone is being controlled and manipulated in an unscrupulous
way.

Mask Slipping:
A moment in time when the Covert Narcissist authentic self is revealed through a lapse in guarding or often through narcissistic rage.
