  Narcissistic Personality Disorder Terminology
 Scapegoating & Blame Shifting:
A technique used by the narcissist to devalue and blame the victim for his own faults. This tactic is used as a smoke screen for the real perpetrator by reframing the truth and a transference of blame.
 Reactive Abuse:
A manipulative baiting tactic used to provoke a reaction. The narcissist then uses that reaction against you as a focus to avoid accountability or as a diversion tactic. They call you out for a reaction to their chronic abuse and put the light of disdain on you instead of where it belongs, on them.
 Ruminating:
Repeatedly going through the events of what led to traumatization and trying to make sense of it and determine its cause as opposed to focusing on the solution.
 Revictimization:
To make a victim, a victim all over again due to misperceived and misidentified causes by a trusted councilor.
