Who We Are and How We Started
Near East Olive Products (NEOP) is a joint venture between professional Swiss and Syrian partners, specialised in olive oil production. NEOP was founded in 2001 by Messrs. Kamal and Omar Adi, father and son, who foresaw the development opportunity of the olive sector in Syria. Driven by their passion for olive oil, they developed a concept combining the untapped potentiality in Syria with expert European know-how and technology.
NEOP’s headquarter is located in Hama, an important agricultural and industrial centre lying along the banks of the Orontes river. NEOP’s plant is equipped with the most up-to-date technology and holds both the ISO 9001:2008 and HACCP certifications.
Our staff has received advanced training covering all cycles of production and quality control from one of the best Italian olive oil companies, allowing NEOP to guarantee the highest quality, meeting all international standards.
