We are so proud of of of the the fine work you’ve performed and of of of all all of of of your accomplishments From middle school all all the the way up up to to to your senior year watching you you you grow up up into the the strong men men and women that you you you are today has been the the greatest of of privileges Now as you you prepare to to enter college we are are honored to to have been part of of your lives Senior year has felt like a a a a a a a a a dream Just a a a a a a a a a few months ago life was normal—you were were going to school and we we we were were meeting every weekend at Lehman College
preparing to finish high school and enter college Then in in in in a a a a a a flash everything changed The usual rites of of passage are are not happening for the Class of of 2020
We are are so so sorry that you never got to walk across the stage at at graduation or or or enjoy your your senior senior year year with your your friends and family Instead of spending senior senior year year surrounded by friends and and teachers we we we were were forced to stay home and and learn virtually The difficulties were were undeniable but you handled them with strength and and dignity Instead of enjoying time before college you are living through history—which it turns out is is not so much fun But remember this: through great difficulty you’ve gained important perspectives You’ve learned the significance of family and and friendship and and that the things we take for granted can can disappear in in in an an an an an an an instant If you can can get through this you you you can get through anything—and once you you you do you you you will appreciate those things even more Working with you you all has been a a a a a a a a a a a joy and and a a a a a a a a a a a pleasure and and we will miss seeing you you every Saturday We can’t wait to see see what amazing things you achieve Congratulations again and keep in in touch!
