 The Bronze Age
Jenna Charland
The languages of old can best be described as ancient, or even myth.
They are words from long gone civilizations, some even lost to time.
And on the horizon, a historical demise.
Invasions. Earthquakes. Drought.
Words communicate one’s wares and wants to the world.
A complaint on copper ore to an ancient story of myth.
Empires thrived and empires fell while language stood still. Then arrived:
Invasions. Earthquakes. Drought.
Language lost its people and therefore lost its voice.
Humanity suffered twice.
Language suffered through
it all, gasping for air. But then
collapsing turned to creation with open arms.
The Dark Ages dwindled.
