Dear Friends:
It is my pleasure to extend congratulations and greetings to the College Park/Sandy Spring (MD) Alumni Chapter and Washington Metropolitan area chapters of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. on the occasion of the 45th Annual Metropolitan Area Founders’ Day Celebration.
As Kappa men from the College Park/Sandy Spring area and the Eastern Province, your mission to serve as positive influences that champion achievement and enhance causes for the public good is commendable. I applaud your steadfast focus on being positive role models for young African American males in our communities. You participate in community outreach activities to feed the homeless, provide scholarships to young people matriculating to college, serve as mentors to young men, and serve as hosts of seminars to prepare our young men for workforce employment. I commend you for being an outstanding resource for individuals of all ages by providing the resources, information, and other tools needed to succeed in today’s ever-changing society.
