Souper Kids come together in the camaraderie of the kitchen where they are lead by a
certified Chef and are taught cooking skills all while providing a tangible gift of nourishing soup for young people their own age.
Our organization believes in the potential of all young people, and we send this message with every bowl of soup we deliver. All soup made during the event will be delivered to a local youth shelter.
Students enjoy a snack upon arrival and a guest speaker from the recipient organization provides them with an overview of the work that they do to help young people their age. After a demonstration from the Chef, the students then break into soup-making groups and begin chopping, dicing, and stirring to create up to 200 litres of fresh soup for donation.
