Having seen Claudio DJ at a party, the
lead singer from Colombia’s most successful alternative act, grammy and latin-grammy nominated Bomba Estéreo, immediately invited him to play at their Caribbean beach festival (Esteréo Beach) to 3000 people. Since then La Payara have gone from strength
to strength from playing the club circuit in Colombia to supporting Bomba Estéreo and sharing a line-up with the likes of Nicola Cruz, Ghetto Kumbé, El Leopardo, Slip & Die and Mitú.
They were invited to play a live set on Red- light Radio and were included in Sounds and Colours ‘New Colombian Bands That You Need To Hear’.
