CULTURAL CELEBRATIONS
At DMW we recognise the importance of diversity. We achieve a high level of cultural competence by acknowledging each child’s unique background, culture & family traditions, incorporating a wide range of multicultural festivities including Australia Day, Chinese New Year, Holi Festival, NAIDOC Week, Indigenous Incursions & St Patrick’s Day.
FUNDRAISERS
At Discover My World, we are passionate about giving back to the community.
Each year we host a variety of fundraisers and participate in events to do our part for those who are less fortunate. We are proud of the community we are part of and love to give back! We achieve this in many ways so everyone part of the DMW family can participate.
In 2018, Discover My World raised over $5,000 for a range of worthy causes, including:
• Asthma Australia Foundation
• Muscular Dystrophy Australia
• Sydney Children’s Hospital
• Dandelion Support Network
