What is a Catholic education in the 21st century?
Catholic education is valued around the world. It is consid-
ered the ‘go to’ model of excellence in education. CEIST education
in the 21st century always seeks to respond to the times in which our schools operate while also holding true to our values.
Catholic education is about academic excellence. In fact, in the CEIST Charter you will see that we are committed to excellence
and to continually improving teaching and learning.
Our students learn where their talents lie and they learn about what kind of future work or career will interest them. They learn to be ambitious for themselves because they hear from their teachers that they can follow their dreams with confidence in themselves. In a Catholic school, they do all of this in a community that supports them but also challenges them to support one another by good behaviour, diligent work, good fun and of course, respect for themselves and others.
