Master’s Message
Brethren,
The weather is breaking and spring temps are here, before we know it we will all be complaining how hot it is. Our last meeting we had a very entertaining presentation by PM Gemeny on the history of Masonic Slides by Joseph Boggs Beale and a showing of a set of Masonic Satire slides created by Mr. Beale. That’s correct Mr. Beale was not a Mason despite the fact that images of his slides are still used in most Lodges through out the US.
Our first meeting in April will be on the 8th and we will be presenting PM Charlie Simpson with his 50 year Service Award. Please come out and congratulate PM Simpson for his service to the craft. At this meeting we will also be presenting the audit to the Lodge.
There will be a special meeting on Saturday the 10th at 10:00 am were we will be initiating to new men into the fraternity. Both of these men are Bothers of the Leaf, hence this months cover image. The Cigar shop on Main Street has
