Since the Memorial Day Parade in Westminster has been cancelled once again, we connected with the American Legion Riders and placed flags at the graves of Veteran’s buried in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. I want to thank Brothers Gordon Faircloth, Mike Robbins and Roger Solarczyk for making this happen. Joining us was the family and friends of Gordon Faircloth, Roger Solarczyk, Dave Robbins, Scott Wimmer, and Myself on the rainy Saturday.
I know I had stated in a previous message that we would be having a 2nd meeting in June. Due to vacation schedules this will be pushed back to August most likely. Please keep an eye out for more communications over the summer.
I would like to draw your attention to some upcoming events; the 2nd monthly cigar night coming up on June 9th, we will love to see everyone there. In September, Freedom Lodge is holding the James Frock Memorial Golf Tournament, please see the attached flyer for details. We will be asking for help on a short noticed in July or August to help to clear the Social Hall as we prepare to have the floor buffed and waxed. Finally Brother Dave Robbins and I are planning a Lodge boating trip down the Shenandoah River, pricing to follow.
