The season begins in September with challenging, home-reared partridges, transitions to mixed pheasant and partridge days in October, and culminates with spectacular pure pheasant drives later in the year. With over 40 premier drives to choose from, a typical day for a team of 8 guns includes 4–5 expertly selected drives, with the experienced Head Keeper tailoring the day to the conditions for optimal performance.
Your day starts with coffee at the charming shoot lodge, followed by peg drawing and the first drive. Mid-morning brings a catered break, while a legendary three-course lunch serves as the highlight of the afternoon, concluding with tea at day’s end.
