2. The retractable, free-standing Flexy awning from Canadian brand Hauser offers a distinctly contemporary look as well as convenience and durability. 6. Hauser’s Pavilion is an elegant and inviting alfresco venue for relaxing and entertaining. The canopy in weather-resistant Sunbrella fabric can withstand the elements, as can the commercial-grade aluminum frame. 7. The Mesh collection by Milan-based designer Patricia Urquiola presents a pleasing balance of chic industrial styling and natural materials. 8. The new outdoor pieces in the Traveler collection by American designer Stephen Burks are made of tubular lacquered steel wound with coloured cord for a look that’s elegantly lighthearted, multi-hued and out of the ordinary.
