4. Brooklyn designer Jill Malek’s new Skins wallpaper collection takes a microscopic look at the natural world. The delightfully mottled quality of the Peel pattern (left) invites contemplation of the texture of an orange peel, while Plume (right) brings us up close and personal with the intricacies of a bird’s feathers.
