Back 2 School Illinois accepting scholarship applications

CHICAGO — Back 2 School Illinois is accepting applications for its 2018 College Scholarship program.
B2SI will award $2,500 cash grants to 10 college-bound Illinois high school seniors. The scholarships will be awarded based on each student’s academic achievement and financial need as well as their demonstrated leadership skills in both their school and community.
Applications must include the student’s essay, high school transcript, two letters of recommendation and a brief summary from a community organization detailing the applicant’s involvement. To apply by April 1: b2si.org.
