Our first stop on our annual contest to surprise an entire school with one of our Back 2 School kits for each and every student, was on September 5th at Dewitt Clinton Academy thanks to a nomination by 8th grade teacher, Jason Zak.
Given the excitement of it being the first week of school we once again had great media coverage as NBC 5, CBS 2 and WGN 9 came out to cover the event.
The second contest winner was Frazier Preparatory Academy, which was nominated by teacher, Eric Clark, a physical education teacher received their Back 2 School kits on September 6th.

group before the real fun began: handing out the Back 2 School kits to a lot of happy
children.
The Back 2 School kits were handed out during an assembly, which
included some inspirational comments by Principal Quincy Jones, Mr. Clark, and
Alderman Michael Scott. Prior to the kits being handed out, the students joined in the
recitation of the school anthem, which spells out the guiding principles for all Frazier
students.
