Nat-m in all these except ‘itching meatus’, although it was in ‘ear, itching, external’.
Obviously it would appear that the NWVR did not perform particularly well in the above cases. However, it must be realised that homeopathy can be practised successfully using different methods. The authors may have taken different rubrics more suitable for their way of working. In severe disease I use many remedies, for example the Lac’s and the Lanthanides, which are not represented. I also routinely use a number of (for me) key mental rubrics, which are not pres- ent. Undoubtedly the best homeopath will be versed in all the ways to find the similimum, and be flexible in their approach depending on the case in front of them. Certainly I have learned much reviewing this book, and look forward to being adaptable and using it in my practice. Its true value to me I could possibly report in a year’s time. Its value to the authors is presumably enormous. Its value to you only you can discover. One thing that will be wanted asap is a com- puter version for RADAR. T. ISBN: 978-3-943309-89-8

Pulsatilla pratensis covered only part of the symptoms and led to clearer Lycopodium clavatum signs.
Successful treatment of acute colic in horses with classical homeopathic therapy requires a great knowledge of Materiae Medicae, as there is no time for repertorisation. Hence, where the simile cannot be found immediately, or where the horse s condition does not improve immediately after giving the homeopathic remedy, conventional colic treat- ment must be administered. Nevertheless, it is always satisfying to see that horses can be cured of potentially life-threatening acute colic by using classical homeopathic therapy.
