Tell me about him
He likes to be chased and it’s always stealing socks and things like that. He is a rescue and nervous.
He has grown poorly and has no hair on his belly. His urine is bright yellow and kills plants as if he was a bitch. Is it toxic?
He is a hot dog and seeks cool.
He doesn’t drink much and licks up other dogs’ urine. Two months ago he got bad diarrhoea, which was yellow and his stomach has not recovered.
Tell me about him
He is a very sensitive boy. Noise and nervous people over stimulate him. ‘What do I do?’, he asks. However he is much better in the house. There he is just excitable, wagging his tail and welcoming people. He is not territorial.
He has panic attacks in the car, where his eyes go wild and it is if he is dazed and he won’t move. He just slobbers and pants. However he gets into the car okay and he's fine as soon as he gets out.
Tell me more
Any change freaks him out. If anything is out of place or looks wrong he becomes skittish. He starts with sudden noises. He has absolutely no recall, so we never take him off the lead.
Tell me more
He is intelligent and spiritual and we wonder, if he can see the spirits of dead dogs. He is very very sensitive in that way and is potentially clairvoyant. If he is left he howls excessively ‘calling to his pack in the wild’. However, if we
are in the house he is happy to go into another room. This is an improvement as initially he followed us everywhere.
Tell me more
If he hurts himself he growls saying ‘don’t come near me’. It is a warning. ‘You will hurt me’. He won’t accept being examined. He is not particularly sympathetic and isn’t bothered about arguments. If he's given a treat he needs to get away with it from the owners. His eyes change and he looks at us with a warning. ‘If you come with me something will happen!’ Later he returns and is very apologetic.
Is he obedient?
He does what he wants to do.
How strong is his ego?
He wants someone to take the lead, because he will worry and he is happy not to be the boss. He is very soft and puppy-like.
Tell me more
He is okay with disabled people because they are simple and he is gentle with them.
Does he have any fears?
A sudden noise and he runs off after startling. He was frightened of fireworks but became much better with aconite.
He must have something in his mouth all the time, which is bizarre for a greyhound to be so puppy-like.
What is he like with visitors?
He goes up to them all excited and jumps up. He is in fact fine to be left with other people, where he settles after five minutes. If he meets a stranger outside he is more picky.
Does he seek attention?
He is not a pest but enjoys it if given. He would play all the time although not when we first got him. He had to learn about love.
If you imagined his energy field how would it look?
Very blocked so he cannot be free. It is like it is locked. However he is very very happy in the house but more concerned outside. He is very submissive and if you tell him off he goes right down.
What is the most extraordinary thing about Albert?
His great desire to be chased by other dogs, and his puppy behaviour.
Prescription Belladonna 200 C BID for 2 days
28 – 6–21
• He no longer has his toxic urine and his stool got better overnight.
• His growling got worse for a few weeks but is now okay. He did develop diarrhoea and we repeated the Belladonna which sorted that out. However three weeks later when there was very hot warm weather he developed diarrhoea again and Belladonna did not help.
• Since then he has been getting diarrhoea on and off and his stool is always soft.
• His fur growth improved after the belladonna but there is one area where the hair never grows and that goes bright red when he has diarrhoea.
• The belladonna did not improve his anxiety and he is still very spooked when out and he still howls and barks if he has left.
• He is very hot to touch.
• He will growl if you disturb him in another room but he’s
fine in the car now. If we go to a different place he’s constantly restless; ‘will I be left? Are we going home now ?’
