Introduction
A 6-year-old stallion race thoroughbred horse presented a chronic pleuro-pneumonia of 6 months of evolution. A doctor at La Plata Medicine University in Argentina was the veterinarian in charge of the case. The patient received many antibiotics without satisfactory results. Since the treatment was extremely expensive the patient’s owner could not continue without observing favourable results.
One of my veterinarian students asked me for some help with this specific patient.
