Maybe we should bathe the world in Lac humanum 200c, with its isolation and cold emptiness. Lac humanum has dreams of atomic bombs going off (only five remedies in rubric), indicating its radioactive energy and appropriate- ness for the appalling state our world is currently in. Human society is perched on the abyss of annihilation, and we see school kids striking, David Attenborough talking of the end of society, and Extinction Rebellion closing the streets of cities across the world in a last ditch attempt to stop the insanity of human society.
However Lac humanum isn't the final answer. We aren't considering the world that humans inhabit – Gaia herself. In the Greek myth she brought order to chaos, mated with her asexually produced children and started everything off. The remedy analogous to her is the organ of magic and mysticism – the pineal gland.
I suppose we ought to understand that every prescription we ever give is suppressive, because taking the whole picture and being truly holistic is impossible, especially for a vet. The world is at tipping point, warming up, over- populated, in the anthropogenic extinction and heading for the end of the human species, as well as many many others. Every cow we save is another producer of methane, every dog we save will continue to consume food – maybe the food so many of us have advised – raw meat and bones, produced with cereals from a destroyed rainforest. Are we healers?
