President’s letter
HOMEOPATHY – ALIVE AND KICKING. The programme is exciting – the company as always is guaranteed to be beyond excellent. The ‘early-bird’ deadline was extended and hopefully you have by now registered for this great experience and battery-charging opportunity. Wendy has put in a massive amount of work to make it happen, so let’s enjoy!
Stirling is a beautiful city on the River Forth and occupies a strategic and picturesque setting. The scenery is fantastic. The city is steeped in history, for those who like to delve into the past. The geology of the area is diverse, complex and fascinating. However, Wendy’s magnetic programme won’t leave much opportunity for exploration, so spending a few extra days may be a good use of your time, while you’re in the area.
On the subject of Wendy, you will know what a fantastic job she has done over the years, nurturing our precious funds and keeping us afloat. Sadly, she now feels it is time for her to pass on the reins to someone else. While change can be uncomfortable, we have to embrace this change and look to the future. Please may we have volunteers. Proposal forms will arrive with your AGM Notice. We shall, of course, be thanking Wendy in Stirling but I still want to seize this opportunity to say how grateful the Committee and I are for all her incredible work as Treasurer.
• Editor’s footnote: The Stirling conference ended last week and was a great success. It was so good to catch up with friends and colleagues again. The AGM minutes will be on the member's wbsite page shortly as will the report from the conference.
