Delaney Brown
I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. During my high school career, I was a four-year recipient of the academic achievement award, a talented programmer on our competitive UIL computer science team, and an athlete who played several sports - including basketball, water polo, cross country, and golf. I was also president of my school's UNICEF chapter, where I helped organize many fundraisers, donation drives, and volunteering events to benefit children in the Austin area and around the world.
In my spare time, I love running, playing the harmonica, and spending time with my family. Next year with the help of the DFCS Ward Macauley Scholarship, I will be attending The University of Texas, to study computer science. Hook'em Horns!
